Yeah, but it is getting that scramjet up to Mach 5 - before it even starts to work - that requires the fuel sucking engines of many moving parts.

The hype seems bigger than the results, like that Steve Martin joke on how to avoid paying taxes on a million dollars:

"First, you get yourself a million dollars,..."
