Well if it won a Gold Award...? They were either short on ideas, or it does work after a fashion.
I'm not going to 'knock it' any more
its just that my main objection is - How many magnets does one have to fit around the cycles spokes.
Personally I would favour just one rotating magnet inside your coil. Certainly cheaper and easier to fit, and if I might suggest, more efficient.
But keep coming up with the ideas, we still luv ya.
