There is an old proverb variously written but goes something like this:

"Choose your enemies wisely, because they are the ones you are going to resemble the most."

or

"Choose your enemies wisely, for you will become them."

and

"Choose your enemies carefully, because one day you will resemble them."

However you write it GWB is the poster child for the thought behind the words. He violates the Constitution to protect it. He engages in Christian fundamentalist hyperbole to counter Islamic fundamentalist hyperbole. I, for one, can't tell the difference between him and Osama bin Laden. Both are active threats to me, to my family, to my country, and to life as I've known it.

The only difference is that one I can get rid of with a ballot: The other a bullet. And lets hope, for the sake of things not getting worse, that no one confuses the respective solutions for each menace. The last thing we need is Cheney AND bin Laden.
