While I have no doubt that my mirror matter proposal is unrelated to biological homochirality within our world, or even a mirror world for that matter it might not always have been so.
Imagine in the beginning when that special bunch of microscopic chemicals were about to become the very first reproducing helical entity out of the starting gate. All the time being buffeted by
energy rushing past you in a circular left handed direction, something somewhere, whether an iron particle, chemical or crystal, would be struck, combine, and turn in the same direction. As would you, were you to be struck by a large rotating mass.
Buncha crap or not ....Its ideas that make for interesting thoughts and experiments.
Irrespective of the fact that neither you or I can
never prove as to why amino life acids are left-handed, its the thought that counts in this case.
Prehaps planetary or even galactic rotation could have been the trigger. Who knows? Who cares?
The interesting fact is that Amino Acids are left handed, and no-one knows why, not even you Al.
