Enigma Of 'Lefthanded' Extraterrestrial Amino Acids

(62.188.48.74)FROM OUR FRONT PAGE 6th Nov:
"............Making the case for cosmic origins of Earth's amino acids even more compelling is the fact that all of the meteorite amino acids, except glycine, favor the "left-handed" molecular structure, or chirality, that is also favored by life on Earth. The preference for left-handed amino acids was a necessary precondition for life, but just why life chose left (L-amino acids) over right (D-amino acids) is a mystery".
***The above was just a small part of the complete,
and interesting article posted on our Front Page.
But I wonder whether this lefthandness could in any way be related to the 'symmetry' of our Universe?
Symmetry being a fundamental theory from which the laws of our Universe are based. It's been suggested
that every particle should have a 'mirror particle'
that would have been created at the time of the Big Bang, to ensure the total Symmetry of the Universe.
i.e Mirror Electrons, Mirror Protons, Mirror Gluons,
Mirror Quarks, Mirror Atoms etc etc. (Note mirror particles are NOT the same as anti-particles)
Well thats the theory ...But we've never seen them.
Why not?
Well prehaps its impossible to see, or detect, any mirror particle that is rotating (corkscrewing) in the opposite direction of our particles.
In just the same way as one cannot detect a circular polarized (clockwise) radio wave, with an recieving antenna that is polarised (or wound) in an anti-clockwise direction.
Having said that, it possibly the reason that Mirror matter, even Universes, could exist, without us ever being able to see or detect them.
Just why do I say that?
Because the Neutrino ALWAYS corkscrews in a lefthanded way along the direction of its travel.
Nobody has EVER found a righthanded corckscrewing
Neutrino (they dont exist in our world)
So....If the Symmetry theory of the Universe is to hold up.....the righthanded Neutrinos MUST all be
living in a Mirror universe. QED.Prehaps, just prehaps, our lefthanded neutrino may
have contributed to the fact that our amino acids are all left handed ?......which is why I wrote the above.
