When last we left the plot exposition... we were told that the Matrix is cyclic. There is always The One and The One always fails because all courses of action lead to failure. We therefore search for a singularity as plot pivot and fulcrum.
"Me me me." Agent Smith is the singularity, not Neo/Mr. Anderson. Agent Smith is infinitely kewler than Neo. Agent Smith is the key to all.
"Who is Number One?"
"You are Number Six.""Me me me."
