Anybody who runs hydrogen anything inside a closed habitation will be seen flying in hot fragments. Hydrogen is the world's ultimate leak - through microscopic flaws and as a virtual leak through unholed media. There is no way to detect a hydrogen leak until it goes BOOM short of dousing the whole rig in dilute shampoo and loooking for bubbles. Even detecting a hydrogen flame is monstrously difficult - no visible or near-IR emission. BOOM.
The energy density of hydrogen storage is small. 3000-5000 psi tanks don't hold much chemical energy compared to mere gasoline or even alcohol, they are expensive, and they leak. Cryogenic storage is absurd. HY-STORE alloy is heavy, expensive, and killed by trace contamination.
Fuel cells are killed by trace sulfur or carbon monoxide contamination. They are unreliable in a mechanically or chemically dirty environment.
You are being sold a bill of goods. Do you remember the E*L*E*C*T*R*I*C car? Hype does not counterbalance physical impossibility. Consider religion. Who hs all the flush toilets in this world?
