Actually, you are completely wrong. In Biology, we classify living organism in 5 phylum : Monerea ( bacteria) Protista ( Algeas and protozoas) Myceta ( Yeasts, Mushrooms) Phyta ( plants) and Animalia (animals). An amoeba is classified as a Protista. Its a protozoa.

Alcohol is produced by yeasts, they are myceta.
