We usually think of an animal as something furry with legs. In Biology an animal is pretty much anything that is not a plant. An amoeba isn't a plant, nor is a slime mould, since they dont use Chlorophyll to get their energy---so they are classed as animals.
Next time you drink a glass of wine (Alcohol) just
remenber you are drinking animals wee wee. (piss)
ie. animals waste matter. Hehehe.
