Recent Earthquakes

(80.219.95.160)Could the earthquakes we are experiencing now be the first signs of major world wide earthquakes occuring to compensate for for the melting polar ice caps? Where the dynamics of the earths crust considered when the first predictions of what the meltings ice caps impact on the sea level would be?
The fault lines are probably more vulnerable to warping due to the weight shift, in which case the plates would be shifting naturally "horizontally" as well as "vertically" increasing the chances of earthquakes?
