No. You got it wrong. It's all our fault. We the people have so deteriorated in our intellect and good judgement that we no longer have any better sense than to elect someone like G W Bush.
Of course, it is a sad commentary that our political system is no longer populated by men and women of honor with a dedication to service and a well-developed sense of right and wrong responsible to an electorate that took their rights and responsibilities as citizens seriously, and instead has become the haven of those who are ruthless and amoral enough to exploit the people remorselessly in their pursuit of ever vaster plains of power upon which to graze.
