Hehehe, aint it wonderful how a handful of research boffins are able to turn previous beliefs upside down, especially in the medical world.
Just this line in 2nd para:
'And then there's nicotine's ability to prevent or ameliorate Alzheimer's symptoms', an area on which Prof. Levin focuses.'
That is an incredibly bold statement to make, it
alone should get thousands of middle aged hypochondriacs reaching for their first cigarette.

Then again it did'nt seem to help 'Terry Thomas' that very English typed actor who always smoked cigarettes using a long holder (he was in 'Its a Mad Mad Mad World')I believe he died of Alzheimers
