So what? Dispense with the safety LIE, and just send idiots, there's no end of 'em down here. NO! Here me out! Computers, after all, can do all the clever stuff. If NASA deem it necessary to send up actual humans, then damn! I've gotta huge list of future astrozeros to 'boldly go', in badly maintained, shoddy craft, and they're so dumb they'd actually thank us for letting 'em on board.
And think about it, no need for tricky re-entry procedures. 'Oh no! Angle too steep! All burnt up...again" Dang!
