there is a family of chicadees that have made a home
of a hanging basket flower plant just outside my front door.
there are three eggs in the nest.
it looks like the birds dug a hole in the plant to make the nest.
they found a hole in the screened in porch for their entrance.
they dont seem to be bothering anything including the little lizards that also take refuge on the front porch.
I have placed a small desert serving bowl full of bird seed close to the nest.
