Follow the money, honey. Mickeycrap's operating systems can't handle the load. Mickeycrap isn't getting its costs back DCF/ROI. In any case, morality cannot be legislated - the street finds its own uses for things.

Ancient Hebrew does not have vowels.
Modern Ashkenazic Hebrew was assigned vowels in the mid-1800s and is homophonic to German. It is trivial to read. (Hangul Korean is a wholly synthetic syllabary instituted in 1440 and is exceedingly well done.) The State of Israel adopted Sephardic Hebrew (different pronunciation) containing no written vowels, consistent with its primarily Arab culture.
Note that written Hebrew is a different alphabet than printed Hebrew (both containing special terminal letter forms, as opposed to capitalization). The written stuff can be scrawled down with a pen or pencil nice as you please (taking care not to smudge the output because it is written right-to-left). The printed alphabet can only be properly written with a chiseled quill nib.
Hebrew, like French, has a State Committee to assure purity of the language. Both languages are dinosaurs on crutches. Written Arabic is tremendously worse.
Collapse of a language from scholarly forms to patois/creole/gutter forms generally signals collapse of the society that speaks it. If you cannot write it you cannot think it.
