Re: Feo: thermodynamic laws (paul)

"that guy holds a doctorate in mechanics.
he is a proffessor at georgia tech.
his calculations show that the concept works."

The poblem is not his calculation, it was correct all right. The problem was you understanding it.

"I understood the calculations to a degree , if you can recall.it was the symbols he used that I was not familiar with and did not understand , nor did I understand the flow of the calculations."

Of course I recall. But now, you tell me:if you didn't exactly understand the symbols, and the flow of the calculations, what exactly was that you understood. In what you said above, you just proved my point.

"as I recall you wanted me to convert the entire funding application into ms office or something and that was the last I heard from you."

And what exactly was I supposed to do?You never sent them. I agreed to help you, not to babysit you.

"I dont need your help as you say."

And yet at the time you didn't exactly refuse it, if I recall.

"I have a working model that speaks for itself."

You will have to be more explicit that that. If you mean that it turns,it is fine. It was supposed to, that is not the problem. If you tell me that you filled the tank at a pressure and it continues to spin indefinitely, without slowing down,(which is what you claimed in your proposal, just not in these terms),then it really becomes intersting.

"sure I could have spent years going to school and would have had to study 30-40 different un-related subjects "

Of course.Knowledge bad!Stupidity good, 'cause it comes cheap! Well, go on, someday you may become a president.
I will quote again Maslow:"When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem starts resembling a nail."

"and I would not have a working model in my possession."

Good for you.

"the pressurized fluid that enters the center of what is now a turbine increases in pressure " EXACTLY " as my math and the Doctors math had predicted."

You...!THIS IS NOT THE PROBLEM WITH YOUR CONTRAPTION.Up to this part you have only designed an unefficient turbine, as you say.
THE PROBLEM IS THE RETURN OF THE FLUID IN THE TANK. Because of energy losses (mechanical mostly - SEE FRICTION AND ROLLING), even if you return the fluid in the tank, you won't be able to keep the tank pressure constant, so you will have to compensate externally. And in order to compensate to maintain 2000 psi in the tank (2000 was I think, or 4000) you need submarine pumps, which in turn have to be powered, and so on and so forth.THIS IS THE PROBLEM!

"and the increased pressures results in increased rotational speed , which results in increased pressure , which results in increased rotational speed...etc...etc...etc."

Which as an infinite sum sums up your entire incomptence and lack of elementary knowledge.
As I said before:back to your cave and hit the books.
