Thats good news indeed for parents who realise that their own children are speaking and writing a language that has become almost incomprehensible to them in terms of speed and spelling an inconsistency
I believe Microsofts reason to close their Chat Rooms is to stop the now recocgnised rampant spread of Paedophilia and will obviously include all sorts of other grey area's so much loved, I might add, of those who revel in anonymity. sadly that must include children as well as grown ups.
This closuire , I think it will encompass at least 30 countrys? ..will change many lives I am sure.
take all the fun out of what many think is a dangerous unhealthy habit? It will certainly effect Microsoft. I can only admire their decision, after all the adverse publicity they seem to attract.
Hope we are not coming to the end of an era, Microsoft are great, I admire them, they have opened our minds and thoughts to the world and each other.
Prehaps it because of each other that they now put the lid on the boiling pot.
Anonymous Chat Rooms gone forever? I wonder.
A billion more text messages sent, from under the bedclothes with photos, could just be the start
of a whole language. Prehaps a vowel-less language?
(thats not so crazy)..modern Hebrew does not use vowels. A cut down language will surely arise from the massive surge in Mobile phones that will come about because of Microsoft's action.
Methinks it all might get, worse than ever.
Written school examinations in the future? Forget 'em
