Paul, if your model performs as you say, do yourself a service, write a paper on the subject,and send it to be published in some Hydraulics review or similar. Forget what anyone else says.
And if you don't like peer presure, try the preprint archive on the lanl server and post the non-peer reviewed draft there.
Make it public, why don't you?
