I know a lot of people. I know some teachers, several librarians, a couple of novelists, a nurse or two, some doctors, a few receptionists. a brace of veterinarians, the owner of a computer sales and repair shop, the proprieter of an appliance store, a restaurateur, several Sheriff's deputies, a Sheriff, a few police officers, a dentist, a Karate instructor, a few Black Belts, some insurance agents, a couple of optometrists, An engineer or two, a computer systems operator, a computer systems troubleshooter, a plumber, some Cowboys, some Indians, a truck gardener, a minister, an extremely good mechanic, a CAD operator, a whole gaggle of people who work in fast-food and gasoline-vending convenience stores, and a recently-retired Industrial Organic Chemist who is now teaching Science in a parochial school, just to name a few.
You need to broaden your horizons, sweetie, let you find out the the narrow strip you're seeing through is just the edges of a very, very deep rut you've worked yourself into.
