Re: Just in case you were too busy watching TV (Dogrock)

if we have enormous amounts of power then we could replace the depleting ozone.

we could even control or ensure that our crops are given proper amounts of water.

we could turn all of the existing fuels into hydrogen to sell as a product.

there are so many good things that we could do but stagnation has set in due to profits.
when there could be much more profits made from the
same energy resources.

we are a extremely un-secure nation because of this.
look at the recent black out , due to a failure of equipment
to ground out a lightning strike.

each city could have its own hydrogen power plant !!!

there would be more electricity than you could imagine.
and no more black outs at all.

but we as a people are too stuborn to stop testing the envelope , we seem to embrace the inevitable distruction
of the eco system , due to the burning of fossile fuels.

when will we stop doing this?
in a year or two or less , hopefully.

hey we could always just turn our air conditioners around
and cool the planet instead of heating it.
with enought electricity this can be done.

talk about jobs and income taxes being paid to run the country , taxes from oil sales is no comparison.

everybody I know works in the oil industry.
how about you?

I wonder just how many people would be affected if we
converted oil and natural gas and coal and methane ice
into hydrogen instead of burning it.
I think that there would be a large amount of jobs created
overnight.
and then the sub structure would be there when the fuels run out.
we could then use any hydrogen bearing resource for our
non polluting hydrogen fuel.

I think we should not try to keep the earth as it is.
we should try to improve it.
we should help the earth.
it is what we are doing that is hurting the earth.
not what the earth is doing that is hurting us.
the earth responds to what we do.
not the other way around.

we cant just keep on pumping greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere and think that its not hurting anything.
