it remains to be seen how this will affect local sealife (ie ecology)
all of that said, it is ridiculously expensive at this point, but perhaps it will become more cost efficient with time...then again, perhaps not...perhaps it will become even more expensive when actual future maintenance costs and environmental costs are figured in
an initial investment of ~$11,000,000 to supply enough power for about 30 homes per annum seems like a pretty nonsensical ROI ratio...but who knows...maybe over the next 1000yrs or so...
