I have no doubt that most of the petroleum on this planet is left-over from the original solar nebula. So, in the interests of science, I say great.
From the standpoint of the war that will undoubtedly take place between Vietnam and China ... and who knows where else on the planet ... I say darn.
And for the inevitablly huge amounts of CO2 this will dump in the atmoshere ... I say damn.
I sure hope someone figures out how to handle hydrogen in an economically viable way before they figure out how to recover this gook in quantity.
