Further, the expanding effect of the dark energy is some mechanism completely different than gravity, and "anti-gravity" is kind of a misleading misnomer. So again, since it is energy and E=mc2, the dark energy contributes to the overall "mass density" of the universe, but it also has this other effect of "pushing space apart" when viewed at very, very large scales.
