I'm not sure about the uses of a cloned racehorse, seeing as how each gestation would in itself be unique and lead to individuation in the reulting clones to some degree. I suppose one could send in the clones....Gives a nev meaning to the idea of a "ringer", eh?
But can you imagine how ego-delightful it might be to have a coach-and-six with six EXACTLY IDENTICAL horses, all clones? Or a PERFECTLY matched cloned pair to draw a carriage? I can imagine the advert: Why breed for years when you might never come close to that perfect match? With cloning you can have your perfectly matched team of horses all the same age. Take the guesswork out of horse teaming. Train a team once, work them together longer. Complete confidentiality guaranteed.
