(62.188.48.74)WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. scientists said on Thursday they had cloned a mule, proving that even genetically sterile animals can have offspring.
The tricky procedure showed that a little fine-tuning can make it possible to clone even the stubbornest animals, those that have been difficult to carbon-copy using existing techniques -- including valuable racehorses, the University of Idaho researchers said.

Cloning a Racehorse? In it for the money, you say? They might well come unstuck...unless its kept a secret, else its betting odds become zero.
Even a race for cloned horses only, would just encourage nobbling and cheating.
