yeah...read and was going to post it

liked it, too

while it is the first to such such speed in mammals, it is hardly the first...there are many other such examples

still not evolution in the grand darwinian or any other grand sense

the mice are still mice and will never be anything but mice

however, it does help to understand how so many niches could have been filled in a post-flood world a few thousand years ago...and how so many variations (species if you prefer) could have differentiated from the reelatively few original kinds that came off the boat :-)

these results (rapid variation/speciation) have been a continual source of surprise to the evolutionary community...it just isn't supposed to ba able to happen that fast

the other problems are many but...that'll do, laddie, that'll do :-)
