Thank you, DA Morgan,
for the insight about the cold fusion realized. Nonsense or not, it actually does relate to something which is fascinating, to me.
The actual conversation I over-heard was nothing more than a couple of guys chatting over coffee in the next booth at a restaurant,
and that sparked my memory of something I saw on TV years ago. Now it was years ago, mind you, and I didn't watch the whole
program, in fact it was something which simply caught my eye in passing. I love those teaching programs so much, I just had to stop
what I was doing.It was one of those "WOW, Cool, that's amazing!" kind of moments.. I was not in control of the TV however, so I actually didn't get
to see much of that program over the channel flipping which was going on in that house.None the less, maybe what I overheard in the restaurant was the word "diffusion" or "that ol' diffusion thang", now that you mentioned
how it may have worked.But thinking back, I don't recall any wires connected to the clear tube I saw on TV. I'm sure there could have been a battery involved,
I guess. And that might also account for a spark, half way into the tube. However, since the tube was clear, I could see what was
going on inside it. I don't remember seeing any flash or fire involved. But you are right. There may still have been.But sir, could you explain a little more what you mean with your statement:
"The rare earth elements are more likely platinum or palladium that might be catalytic in such an enterprise."
Does that mean that platinum would be on the screens and palladium would be in the water? And that either of the two with a charge
to the screens would be the catalyst for the H2O to separate? And how large would the charge have to be?I remember how it was explained as though it was not something new, but I have not been able to find anything over the net regarding
it.Any more insight would be greatly appreciated.. And I do thank you again........
Kind regards............. ===mike===
