Malaria didn't depopulate Africa, HIV didn't scythe queers and IV drug addicts, clockwork famine doesn't clean out a dozen different desert hellholes scattered about the Old World, the Black Plague erased 2/3 of Europe's population and it was all back within 70 years, WWI killed some 15% of Europe's young males and they were back at it within 20 years, try as we might there are still American Indians, Armenians, Jews, Ted Kennedy, the Pope, and OJ Simpson.

Buncha crap. Dinosaurs overgrazed and extincted a highly laxative fern and then all died of constipation.
