Or it indicates that the Cosmos is 13.7 bn light years across. That's a very different matter....
Agreed, the light emitting today from the very edge of the universe will now take 13.7 bn years to get across it (which I have little argument with). But to assert that the universe is 13.7 bn years old is to assume omniscience [omni-science = "all knowledge"] on the part of the speaker that the Cosmos didn't come into existance all at once, intact.

I don't see that it's falsifiable in either case, so we should just agree to disagree, but will y'all leave it there?
