Mike, I think what you call "Prusian blue" is also called "methylen blue".I remember when I was in primary school, we used to be given methylen blue every year, to our "joy" since a few days afterwards we all had blue tongues.Unfortunately I don't remember what was it good for.Maybe the alternative name helps.
