Don't forget that what is called dark matter is some very special matter that interacts with normal matter (and itself) only through gravitation.
Now, since gravitaton is so weak, it is very likely that dark matter cannot clump too much to form solid matter,or at least not in the way regular solid matter forms (for such dark matter solids, the "interatomic" spacing would be of the order of microns at least, you could almost stick the tip of a 0.5mm pencil between two such atoms!).
