This is anecdotal evidence. You're focusing on one instance of "corruption" or "lack of integrity" while ignoring millions of other cases that are not corrupt. This is not only unconvincing, it's inappropriate to conclude anything from such a minute sample which was specifically selected for the sought-after trait.
