What anyman is doing here, with his repeated public braying about the failings and foibles of those in the Scientific community, is merely a hackneyed rehash of the tactics used in the 1920's and 1930's to bring about a negative attitude toward and to discredit the Jews in Nazi Germany. Notice how he never gives any credit to any positive aspect or action of the Scientific community, yet leaps upon any indication that he sees of weakness or dishonesty, real or imagined, that he can bring to public light in this forum. Even the cardinal strength of Science, namely its ability to correct itself and thus redirect and recreate itself, is pounced upon and loudly touted by him as intellectual dishonesty and corruption.
At the same time, he will tolerate no hint of challenge to his own philosphies, claiming immunity from consideration and challenge on the basis of its descent from a higher power. In this way, he can claim to be acting on orders from "higher up", and thus absolve himself of any responsibility for the damages he does to those who oppose him, or look to him for knowledge and leadership. This has long been the plea of many who have acted from positions of authority, either secular, religious, political or military. We've seen this kind of "buck passing" throughout the preceeding century, from Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen to Lt. Calley in Vietnam, and beyond. We see it even in our own lives, in the hideous destruction of the World Trade Center by Fanatic Zealots driven by the premise that what they are doing is for the greater good and glory of their narrow little point of view. The major difference here is that anyman's target is Science and those who make it their life's work. A much harder group to quantify and segregate than Jews or Gypsies, but nonetheless vulnerable by their very unwariness.
You are being led down a very dark garden path by an expert in sophistry and debate. I suggest you think long and hard about just who and what "anyman" must be, to have such a natural and efficient command of solipsism and sophistry.
