It seems to me somewhat unlikely that such an event would have this outcome decades later.
And don't worry about Uncle Al, he would go into a spleen venting rant about anything anyone posted that had so much as a hint of concern for another human being, animal or the enviroment.
He can be very insightful at times but he surely has one heck of an axe to grind for some reason.
