Hey, another thought anyman.
Theres always the possibility that Pioneers Tx crystal (that keeps the frequency stable) has
altered by a few cycles due to:- outgassing or a physical change due to the lesser gravitational field, or even ageing. Prehaps the Atomic heater which supplys the Tx power, is running down.NASA can only report upon the slowing/pulling? they have no proof as to the actual reason.
Hey, I was reading that the Pioneers could still be moving thru the universe long after our Sun has gone nova, expanded and engulfed the Earth.
Some thousands of millions of years into the future!!! Reminds me, I better get my name down on that DVD ready for the next space shot. 8^)
