I might be reading a little into this.
but this looks alot like a very big move.
and we dont even see it comming.
I say we build up the pacific now.

If I wanted to hatch an egg I might want to be able to sit on that egg.
suppose I had several children who were fighting about something , I might want to take away that something to stop the fighting.

or to just give them time to cool down as I am not agressive yet I am very very big but I am not bigger than my neibor.
