Oh....... Sod the whole thing Paul.
Go buy your steel gear, mount ot on a steel shaft.
Then hacksaw off a disc of Nylon, an mount it on another shaft.
Couple the two shafts togetherso that the gear and disc diameters are touching firmly.
Carefully play a blow lamp on your metal gear while turning it.....hopefully melting your teeth
into the disc.
Dos'nt sound right, but Im drunk.
Finish ofv with a file.
