Newsflash for you, Hammy boy -- The bible may contain some wisdom about how humans can get along together, some personal, subjective lessons.... but as a scientific or predictive text, it has some major problems. You are aware, of course, that the bible takes the position that the Sun revolves around the Earth, are you not? I think in view of this, one should be a little more careful about what "the Bible lets us know".
