this must refer to 'natural blondes'.
of course anybody can bleach their hair.
info that i have seen indicates that recessive genes do not become extinct. there are so many heterozygotes that carry recessive genes that the recessives do not become extinct.
this may be the reason that cystic fibrosis and other diseases caused by duplicates of recessive genes do not disappear.
this sounds vaguely similar to the eugenics idea which was popular in the 1930's.
unfortunately, i was not able to read the article from the link because the (outdated 4.5) browser here at the Philadelphia Regional library would not show tha link.if you could print the gist of the article, i would appreciate it. the genetics that i studied contradicts the idea of extinction of recessive genes.
