what does the future hold for us?

dialup-64.158.150.99.dial1.sacramento1.level3.net (64.158.150.99)i was thinking about the future. is our future peaceful, war rage, new technology, new weapon to distroy or like in the movies thinking what the future looks like or there will be no life in the future. (just desperatly wanting to know about the future.
