Interesting article. Certainly catching all that waste heat sounds good - - unless it costs even more energy to construct, distribute, install and operate the devices that would make it happen! Also, I find myself wondering - - once you convert the waste heat into light energy, how are you going to actually store it? (since that seems to be the point). I suppose you could aim it at a photovoltaic cell???? Catch the light in a light brick? ;o) It will be interesting to see what comes.
