i think that one of the problems inherent in some problem solving is the statement that
'ultimately there are only two possible philosophical outcomes'.
where did this idea come from ?
to me, it is an idea that limits possibilities for solving a problem.back in the old days (there she goes again) there was a technique used in problem solving which was called 'brainstorming'. the possibilities were not limited to two.
why is this being done in areas that can only benefit from as many ideas as one can present.
there are more than two ways --- why not ?
