Ok ... for people that can only think inside of the box.
Rotation of the universe ... does not mean it literally spins like a basketball. Rather that it has the quantum-mechanical property known as spin.
I would have thought you could have connected the dots yourself.
To spin, as in a basketball, requires an additional macro dimension with a coordinate system through which the object can rotate. At this point there is no evidence that such a dimension exists nor is there much theoretical support for such a construct.
