the ice is floating so it must be less dence than the water its floating in."Floating ice displaces *exactly* its weight in water: no more, no less. Kinda like thermodynamics – only completely different. :-)
Therefore, the melting, regardless of the salinity, would go unnoticed, sea-level-wise.
