Of course evolution theory is atheistic. I'm surprised that you didn't know that Mike.
You see one of the most important tenents in fundamentalist Christianity is to tell God what he/she can and can not do.
And these people have clearly told their god that he/she could not possibly have created evolution in any creatures, especially humans.
This knowledge, of course, being imparted to these IMPERFECT humans through their PERFECT understanding of a single book.
Well that and a healthy dose of self-righteous hypocrisy to grease their wheels.
