Being flippent maybe, but from first an Indian shot an arrow in the air did people think they were affecting the weather. If we to go down this road (assuming we don't have the proof) we could be back to making sacrifices (economical and human effort) to please the weather Gods. Not doubting the genuine concern, just worried about tieing ourselves up in continuous and maybe unneccesary efforts to save the planet.
