Come on anyman. Lets not start waffling now and going back to tired old straw fluffing analogies that likely few, and certainly I, don't understand.
You want to take everything literally: So do it. And stop being a hypocrite by only taking as literal truth those things that you find convenient.
If you want Genesis you must take Jonah and the whale
If you want Noah you must take the kosher rules
You can't pick and choose.
