new ideas that are improbable are not necessarily correct, but debate and discussion about a topic presented by a respected scientist is interesting. if the presented idea is not totally correct other related ideas may be correct or lead to new information.
i am not necessarily convinced that one hundred percent of the new idea is correct, but i do think that it is worth discussing and debating for possible new information.
i don't like the idea of a new idea from a reputable, respected scientist being rejected 'just because' it is an 'improbable' new idea.
"occ-asionally i -am" probable.
