Because there was NO DEATH before the Fall of Mankind. Evolution inherently involves millennia of births and deaths, macro- and micro-evolutions. Both cases cannot be true. They are mutually exclusive.
So, I assume that you join anyman in belief in a 6000-year-old Earth. Correct me if I am wrong. I also gather that, since you seem to rejoice in the letter of the law, you strictly follow the rules for ritual cleansing as proscribed by Leviticus. Sounds like fun.
