Hypocrisy: (Try it again)

Re: pagan days (DA Morgan)
Are you willing to stand in front of your god and tell him (or her) that they are not allowed to appear in different ways to different peoples? Willing to tell that god that he (or she) is only allowed one book?
...are you willing to stand before the One God, Daniel and tell Him that He's not allowed to have one Way?
You put me in mind of God's rebuke to Job and the three "friends":
Job 38:2 "Who is this that darkens my counsel
with words without knowledge?,
Job 40:2 "Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!"
There is no reconciling the "truths" of all the religions of the world with Xianity, because there are aspects of the others and of Xianity that cannot be reconciled without making God a hypocrite:
Job 34:10 "So listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do evil,
from the Almighty to do wrong. 11 He repays a man for what he has done; he brings upon him what his conduct deserves. 12 It is unthinkable that God would do wrong, that the Almighty would pervert justice.
Your own arrogance, Daniel Morgan, as well as mine, is what is intolerable to God, just as Job's was -- that's what Job's sin really was -- his self-righteous self-defense, his arrogance. No humility at that point. Odd that you should bring that up....
Why is God so invested in my siin and your sin?
Job 34:29 "God does all these things to a man-
twice, even three times- 30 to turn back his soul from the pit, that the light of life may shine on him.
Because He loves you and wants you and me to live Well and to be in heaven with Him and all those that we love and have gone on before.
Read "A Severe Mercy" by Sheldon van Auken -- it's a worthy read.
O, BTW: Job 34:33 Should God then reward you on your terms, when you refuse to repent? You must decide, not I; so tell me what you know.
